Sky stream remote mixed up buttons

I have the sky stream. One minute the remote was fine next thing the buttons are all mixed up, volume no longer works and the search options appears when pressing the volume button. The microphone button doesn't work, number 1 doesn't respond, 2 changes channel. Not sure what has happened. I've reset many times, even did a factory reset of the puck, but no luck. Will I be able to get a free replacement.

Due to the fact you have reset the remote and it's still not working, I have escalated your post to Sky. Keep an eye out for a message from them. @Chloe230

Check the batteries in case they've leaked. This shoudn't happen, but it's worth ruling it out.
