Free Movie Sky Showcase VIP rewards

I am a Diamond VIP Sky user and have Sky Stream. I have tried to watch the free movie on sky showcase channel 106 but every time I try and watch it, Sky simply asks do I want to upgrade to Sky Ultimate from Sky Essentials. Just trying to find out if I can access the free movie as stated in the VIP section of My Sky app. Can anybody help.

@Robingp52 You would need to upgrade as showcase is not part of the essentials package

The vip section isn't tailored to each individual customer and contains all offers regardless of whether they apply to you or not so some offers may not be available

You wouldn't watch the free movie via a movie channel, you need to go into the Sky Store section and find the movie that way @Robingp52

Edit: Actually I have just checked on my Sky VIP and it does tell me to view the channel but also gives me a date and time that I can view. What date and time have you been given.

"Free movie" is a marketing ploy. The film is available to all subscribers VIP or not. Bottom line if you don't subscribe to Sky showcase - you won't be able to watch it
