Literally changed the batteries for my sky remote to then use the remote for sky and it won't work?

Not sure why your memory matters, you have access to the box so can easily detect what you have

Google sky box images and compare yours

Log on the sky.com and check there, it will tell you the system your subscrition is for

So am I right in thinking that you're using Sky Stream but the only thing on screen is a white Sky logo on a black background?

I think if that's the case it's probably not a remote issue, it sounds more like the box isn't turning on properly.

The box and tv itself is fine and on but the remote is just dead nothing working no buttons what so ever it just died tried changing batteries the lot and nothing works

If that's doesn't work, this is the official link to order a new remote from Amazon https://www.sky.com/help/articles/damaged-or-lost-sky-glass-remote

You could also contact Sky to ask for a replacement. You can use the Sky Help portal to contact Sky. If you want to speak to somebody, you can click "Need more help?" at the bottom, and within that content you will see a phone number (we can't post phone numbers in this community).
