Very dark pictures on sky stream puck

Evening all,

had the original puck for 2 years and then suddenly the screen would go very dark and dull and turning the puck on and off many times would resolve it. Tried different hdmi leads and still the same situation.

sky sent me a new puck and still does the same, thought it could be tv but colours are find when using the apps on the tv, Netflix and Disney for example.

confused why this is doing this, any ideas

@Rich007jp If this happens on 2 different pucks it would suggest maybe a possible TV fault affecting the HDMI inputs? Have you tried a different HDMI input? Does the same happen?

As the TV apps don't use HDMI they may well not be affected.

Could it be that you've selected the 4k output (2160p) from the puck? That has more dynamic range than HD and can appear darker.
