sky q to stream

Phoned sky to ask if i could change to stream, told because i am on sky q i would have to wait till contract ends, i was hoping to get a better deal by changing to stream, but i was told no, as they can't give deals mid contract.

@raymond18 Whoever you spoke to is talking nonsense unless Sky have recently changed their policy. I have read loads of posts on the forum where people have changed from Q to Stream in mid contract. You will probably have to sign up to a new 24 month contract though.

I would call them back in the hope of speaking to a different member of the Customer Service Team.

Well thats what i thought, he said seeing you are on a good deal with sky q stick with it, sometimes i don't think they can be bothered depending on time of day.

It really does depend on who you speak to. It might be that the person was saying that they couldn't match that offer on Stream and so it was advice to save money rather than a you absolutely can't do this. If you want to push, I'd try again with a different agent and see what they say.

As @Fothergill1 says, unless something has changed very recently you can certainly migrate from Q to Stream in return of a new 24 month contract.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, The call I made was the second one as the first one I couldn't understand a word he was saying, the second call wasn't much better with all the background noise it makes it very difficult to get your point across anyway I will try again.
