Issue with streaming live tennis

Trying to watch the Miami Open live Zverev/Thomson match. Its not streaming! plays for 10 seconds then freezes. Get a message that theres been an issue with the stream and to press back and retry. Have done this several times and no joy. Have checked my internet and connectios and all is fine. New subscriber to Sky, not impressed

Is this on Sky Stream or Sky Glass ?

Thank you for replying. Its Sky Stream. I gave up in the hope that I might be able to view it later on catch up, but it seems not! I can only find highlights, with limited games available on catch up. I only subscribed to Sky to watch the tennis. 😢

I am on the verge of signing up to Sky for the first time and Sky Stream is what I am close to signing up to.

Has your issue been resolved? I too am keen to be able to watch tennis and will be disappointed, like you it seems, if that is not possible.

On a separate issue. Have you found so far that the whole of a match is covered or have there been frustrating cut offs when a match goes on a long time?

@JillyE the first thing to do is to run a speed test so that we are all in the know about what speeds your puck is getting.

Open the Netflix app on Sky.
Go to Get Help in the sidebar.
Select Check Your Network.
Note the download speed displayed.

Please could you report back with that?

Also, just a tip that if you add a match to your playlist before it starts via the EPG it may cloud record (the on screen message will tell you if it's set to record or not) and then you should be able to watch it even if the on demand version isn't available. Rights issues does mean that's not always a certainty, and they may not be around for very long after the event but that's worth experimenting with.
