My sky puck remote does not control my Sonos sound system. I selected Sonos on set up but doesn't work the Sonos sound.

No, it's via an optical feed from sound bar to tv.

Is using HDMI an option? If you connect it to your earc HDMI port you can control Sonos volume with your TV remote, and then as long as Sky can control your TV it'll work.

There is no HDMI port on the sound bar but there are two Ethernet or LAN ports. There is also a LAN port on my LG tv. I'm a bit clueless, could these be an option?

Been on to Sky help and issue now resolved. The engineer when pairing my remote assumed when the sound came on that the remote was controlling the Sonos system and exited the set up, it wasn't as I found when he left. I've now setup the remote again but gone further and found my specific Playbar and surround speakers, it now works through my Sky Stream remote. Thank you for your help.
