I have just joined you but my contract ends with virgin media on 15th April. I have received my streaming box. How much notice do I need to give you to get me up and running with you? I don't want any delays in my t.v viewing. How do I get myself on your system etc.

If you have a working broadband now, you can setup your pucks with your current broadband provider and router.

You can use any home broadband service with Sky Stream pucks, not just Sky broadband.

Once your Sky broadband is active, if you have also gone with Sky broadband, you can then change your pucks over to connect to your new Sky broadband and router.

As mentioned in the Sky Stream FAQ;

Streaming TV billing starts when you activate your Sky Stream puck* and any subscriptions are charged a month in advance.

*One to watch out for: If you don’t activate your Sky Stream puck within 21 days of delivery, your subscription and billing will start automatically.

https://www.sky.com/help/home/sky-tv/sky-tv-stream/sky-stream-faqs/articles/sky-stream-faqs

Some important considerations for your Sky pucks on your local network:

Change all your pucks once setup to the following recommended settings, set in the Puck Settings>

Turn wifi OFF under Network if connected via ethernet.

Set Network standby mode to ON and Overnight power saving to OFF.
