Just had Sky installed with Full Fibre and now when we watch Sky TV the picture is pixelated. It doesn't matter what channel we pick, it is still pixelating. Tried the solutions on WIFI help page but no joy!!

I assumed changing from broadband to Fibre would result in flawless wifi and TV streaming. Looks like I was wrong.

What can be done to resolve this issue?

Often this is a cause of a problem with your local network or some interference, despite having a good speed to your house and router.

Sky recommended minimum broadband speed of 25Mbps.
Or 30Mbps if you add an extra Sky Stream puck or to watch in UHD

To be sure, can you try the following by doing a network speed test on each of your Pucks.
Launch Netflix on your pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say a few minutes between tests.
What is your speed?

Today I tried out your suggestion of testing my network speed on my Sky Puck though Netflix.

I got variuous speeds:
79.27
73.32
60.18

The next day after I discoverd my Sky Stream TV was pixelated, it seem to resolve itself.
I haven't had any issues so far during the weekend.

Thanks for giving me solutions to try and resolve my issue.

Hi there, I had pixelated channels for months, followed all the quick fixes and tech advice with no joy at all. Eventually found out it was the 3rd party apps playing in the background that caused it.

After watching an app like Discovery plus, then returning to normal channels via the home key, I would get pixilation that could only be fixed with a reboot! So try closing the app fully before changing the channels.

Netflix has a "exit button" on its menu, but with others like Discovery plus, you will have to press the "back button" (x4) to return to the sky stream menu and stop the app running in the background. Back, back, back, back.......... it worked for me, good luck!
