There are fewer engineers, and they may still be a bit stretched as a result of the storms etc, so there might be a bit of a delay, but they'll still sort out a dish for you.

Sky Stream vs Sky Q

I used to have Sky Q but now I have Sky Stream. And it's worse. In every conceivable way. We have Fibre 100 and excellent Wi-Fi. The menus are slow and laid out in a really unhelpful way, Sky Sports frequently pixelates parts of the screen, 'Add series' misses episodes, I tried to fast forward through an on demand Sky sports programme and the timer got stuck on 19 minutes and it permanently thought I was in an add break and even if I watched for another 10 minutes, any attempt to fast forward just brought me straight back to 19 minutes and in another advert break. Sky Q was brilliant. Sky Stream? I'd give it another 2 weeks before I lose my rag and throw the puck out of the window.

I'll assume that's metaphorical, given that the Puck isn't yours to damage! You can revert to Sky Q during your cooling off period if you can't get on with Stream.

It is 😏 The thing is, we moved house, so we would need an engineer out to fit a dish and all. I'd sort of assumed Sky would be dragging their heels about doing that as they are gradually withdrawing support for it...

Presume WiFi from your post .... are you able to connect the puck to your router with an ethernet cable ? Even temporarily to check you are still getting the same issues. It s also worth running the network check in the settings of the stream Netflix app and reporting back you speed

if you do find that it's works better on Ethernet and onto far away to keep a cable permanently plugged in then I would suggest a set of inexpensive powerline adapters
