topic LG C4 volume indicator in Sky Stream

My Stream remote works as you'd expect with my LG C4 but I get no onscreen volume indicator when adjusting the sound. The C4 is connected to a gen 1 Sonos Beam through the eARC HDMI on the C4.

Is there something I need to alter in the Stream's settings? My smaller LG in the basement gets a volume indicator on the right hand side of the screen

I have a different LG screen with a Sonos soundbar. The LG webOS software doesn't display a volume bar when through eARC as far as I can tell. It's not a Sky thing really, it's an LG thing.

Thanks - as we didn't have this problem with our previous Sony I'm guessing Andrew's suggestion that's it's an LG WebOS issue is the likely cause
