Handset won’t switch off tv. But does switch of sky box

Tv works by switching off at set but not by handset. It switches off sky box. And will switch on using handset when left to turn itself off. I think it's a simple matter to fix just holding down two buttons on handset but I don't know which ones. Problem occurred when I lost the sound for some reason. But managed to get that back.

Just to clarify you are doing a long press of the power button to turn offthe TV?

To reset / re-pair the remote:

Press and hold 7 and 9 together for 3 seconds.

Press and hold 1 and 3 together for 3 seconds
