Why have I been given a smooth shiny remote with one puck and a new Matt finish with the other are both pucks the same or not like older batch? both have same model number

Can you post a photo of them both ? All the remotes I have had have all been identical

Some Stream/Glass remotes have subtle differences as can be seen in the design of the volume buttons on these two, pinched from a couple of eBay listings...

Yes I've got both types ....

but they are both made from the same materials

Perhaps they've started using the same shiny plastic that was used for the Q remotes on the latest batch?

Entirely possible. It must have had a heck of a lot of use if it's fully glossed up though...

From what I've heard it's a new remote I thought the Matte one was the newest I'm new to sky

It's a new remote the buttons are smoother on this model

Tne Sky Stream remote is terrible for attracting marks. Does anyone know if there is an alternative to it?
