The TV may have it labelled as CEC control, you'll just have to dig through the menus.

I've been using sky stream for a couple of months I would now like to switch on my tv and stream box using my stream remote. Can you please advise me how to set this up.
Also I am currently paying Sky £30 a month for TNT Sports (31 day contract). I have now found that I can subscribe to TNT Sports Discovery+ for £20 via my EE mobile account. The obvious benefit is saving £10 a month, can anyone see any disadvantage to doing this? Thank you for any help given. Chas.

Regarding TNT Sport with EE Mobile. Make sure it's not just linked to your mobile phone only, some are. So yes that's fine, but you won't be able to use the Stream EPG channels, just the Discovery+ app.

Hi Hunter,

Thanks for your reply. The EE deal does say that it includes 'large screen access' so should be ok to watch on home tv. I will still keep my sky home entertainment subscription, so that will not change. Cheers, Chas.

@Chas1308 there are two ways to switch your TV on using the Stream remote the first is by using a long press on the power button which should work if tge remote has been correctly set up to control the TV.

The second is to set the TV and Stream to use HDMI control. ThecStream puck should have this on by default but you may have to set the TV to allow connected devices to control. This has the advantage of switching the TV tomthe correct. Input. However not every TV supports control.
