Since yesterday every time we change channels the subtitles come on.
when watching on demand can't get them off

Hi @Heather161 and welcome to the forum. Have a look in Settings > Accessibility and make sure subtitles is turned off.

You can also control subtitles on a temporary basis by selecting the button on your remote with the 3 white dots and then subtitles. I say temporary as when you change them using this method and then you change channels the subtitles will revert back to the default set in the setting menu.

Different Apps have their own subtitle settings.

You could also try a reboot in case it is just a software glitch.
