My Sky stream remote is pushing the wrong buttons

Hello, I have turned on my sky stream this morning and I cannot navigate on the system because the buttons are doing all different things. I've tried holding down seven and nine and also one and three which has not resolved the issue.

You could also try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth. Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again (including my own on more thn one occasion).

If none of the above help then I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote

If you are lucky enough to have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement to arrive.

I had my doubts about this wringing out the remote solution but low and behold, it's fixed my remote. Thank you so much.
