Sky Puck Remote/LG TV

Hope someone can advise. We have a Sky puck and an LG tv. We can pair it ok and it controls it ok and will turn it off. The problem we have is when turning the tv on, it doesn't go to the right input so I have to use the tv remote to go the the right input. It's not a big thing but is annoying as it did turn it on direct to Sky at one point. We have done resets on both.

What CEC do you have set on TV and puck?

How are you activating the puck?

We just plugged it in and followed the instructions. It works fine apart from that one issue. What is CEC? Sorry, not very technically minded.
