It requires a constant stable connection to Sky's servers and even small variations on a slow connection can cause problems.

It's not as elegant a solution but if you cannot improve your broadband speed, or cannot have a dish and want to stream everything then you may be better off using the apps built in to your TV. Samsung TVs have an extensive app store and most of what is available on Sky Stream can be found via apps. You can get live BBC channels from iPlayer, ITV from ITVX, etc. and you can get Sky content from the Now TV app.

Can we upgrade super fast?

Superfast broadband over FTTC usually runs as fast as the copper line can support, unless (unusually) you opted to take a 40/10 service on a circuit which can support 80/20

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is available.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

I have a Samsung OLED TV, Sky Stream and broadband from Sky. The BB runs at 70meg. I've experienced the same quality issues as you and had numerous calls with Sky Technicans. We've tried various fixes - moving WiFi router (it's 2 metres away) , switching off the Sky booster, connecting Ethernet cables and many resets. In the end they have concluded that the broadband is too slow for Stream. I have a dozen smart devices in the house and the Stream puck can't catch the required amount of Bandwidth. Fibre isn't available in my area so at the end of my contract I'll have to move to alternatives as certain programmes (all from the Sky stable) are completely unwatchable. Such a shame as I think streaming is a logical move forward.

How did you do the speed test?
