Why am I being billed and asked to make a payment only 4 days after equipment has been activated. Can someone give me some insight into this please

How your Sky Glass / Sky Stream bill works

Your Sky Glass / Sky stream services are charged a month in advance. Your bill provides a breakdown of each subscription and the period covered.
One-Off Charges: Any additional charges, such as Sky Store rentals, or Sky Box Office events, are billed in the following month. For example, purchasing a movie through Sky Store will be added to your next month's bill.

Your first bill

Billing starts: Once your services are activated
First payment due date: 3 days after activation
Payment amount: TV subscription (a month in advance) + TV credit agreement (monthly repayment, if you’re paying for a Sky Glass TV in monthly instalments)

For example, if you ordered on the 10 March and activated on the 15 March, your first bill payment will be taken on the 18 March. This payment covers the period from 15 March to 14 April, which includes a month in advance.

Your first payment might be collected slightly later if the date falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday, or if you're paying by Direct Debit.
