Hi GD1 thanks for the reply.
im out of the cooling period I think. Was. Connected 6th Oct. Netflix check is 63mbps and WiFi the same I'm on up to 80mbps connection, soon to be with virgin m500.
I know the new streaming service relies heavily on a good internet connection so i do lean towards this being an issue with my broadband. But I do get a strong 55-70mbps. A part of me thinks surely sky can't release something without a lot of stress testing for all kinds of environments and scenarios, and this is just the connection the puck is getting. All of my other players and gadgets work flawlessly.

New customer here and wondering if anyone is experiencing a very poor service from Sky steam.
Puck showing black screen in the middle of a broadcast and not just intermittently, permanently.
Constant screen tearing and pixelated images. It just unwatchable. I'm not happy and I'd like an explanation as to why it's so bad. Please sky be as technical as you want and be honest with it.

my internet is good this happens wired and wireless.

new customer since October and wishing I was back on Q. I have an image of the horrendous pixelated picture if needed.

It should be noted the puck needs a minimum of 25mbps for HD & 35mbps for UHD, have you tried a speed test using the netflix app on the puck?

Open netlfix, go to Get Help, run connection test, what speeds are being reported?

Stream has been on wide release for more than three years now: I'd imagine Sky are sanguine about the fact it isn't going to work for everyone, particularly given they've chosen not to provide in-premises support.

While undoubtedly annoying for those affected, it's apparently not an unfeasible business position.
