Fast forward bug

Not sure if this is a new bug, but sometimes, but not always, if you fast forward for more than three seconds the timeline disappears, so instead of the centre button being play it brings up a programme info banner and you overshoot.

So then you have to scrabble around to find the play button, then rewind to where you wanted to be.

Brilliant.

Yeah I've noticed this over the last few days.

@Ed.B. What software version is your device showing ( I suspect it's the latest software update that has caused it) ?

Just to update this thread. This bug has been raised with Sky in the closed part of the forum is being investigated.
