Pause live tv issue

New to Sky. Paused live tv for the first time which was fine but started playing after about 30 minutes. Is this normal? Also, when watching tv after pausing it would not pause again and the screen kept freezing for a couple of seconds and then jump forward that couple of seconds.

@Paulx7 If your new to Sky you won;t have Sky+, can you confirm which TV box you have? It's going to be either Sky Q (connected to a satellite dish or Sky Stream (small puck that connects to your broadband).

This is pretty normal behaviour for Sky Stream.

Stream has an approximate pause time of 30minutes on live tv 👍
