How can we request sky to overthink there controller for steam. I wishes it got a source button.

what kind of source ? Is it to change the hdmi channel on the tv ? Probably be extremely tricky considering the vast amount of tv manufacturers out there ....

They put it on all other remotes sky q etc.

And it was presumably the unreliability and consequent support burden of that which caused it to be left off the Glass/Stream remote.

Don't forget unlike Sky Q, the Sky streaming platform isn't a Sky product. It's a Comcast designed and built product/service used throughout the world by Comcast subsidiaries.

They actually put an input select button on the remote for the Xumo Stream Box in the USA, which uses the same hardware and Entertainment OS as the Stream puck.

Presumably because none of the services available on Xumo's Streaming service require it.

Shame as was thinking of getting one those remote. Surely sky can add that function

It's crazy that there's no way to change source. I'd be lost without that ability on my Sky+HD remote.
