Remote not working

I'm trying to set up streaming box for 1st time and the remote isn't working. There's not light. I've tried different batteries, the reset etc but never any light to indicate it's actually live.

Hi @KIH

There was an issue last year where remotes where dead. Try gently twisting the remote like you were wringing out a dishcloth. This may help bring it to life. The backlight on the remote should light up showing it has power.

Failing this you will need to call Sky for a replacement (we are fellow customers on the forum). If you have just moved from Sky Q you should be able to pair a Q remote in the mean time.

Thanks, absolutely nothing, only just joined so not a great start.

During the setup the remote defaults to infa red ..... make sure you have line of site for the remote to the puck. During the setup the remote will connect via Bluetooth
