Sold any stream on the basis I plug in yo one tv, the other tbs's in house I download sky go app nd can use via that? Have I been missold ?

The Sky Go app isn't available directly on Smart TVs. It's available on phones, tablets, computers and games consoles ( although you need to have Whole Home or Sky Go Extra for games consoles).
