any way of watching on friends tv? i take my laptop round when on normal channels, but i can't get sports+ on windows apparently? could I get it if I took my Xbox round perhaps? I'm assuming I'm not allowed to take my puck over to friends place? and guess i still can't cast phone to his tv? no option but to get him to mine?

The Sky Sports + bonus streams are only available via the Sky Sports App on Sky Q, Sky Glass, Sky Stream devices and on mobile devices ( phones and tablets).

Taking your Sky Stream puck over to a different address to watch it would put you in breach of your contract as the device can only be used at your registered address.

You cannot use your puck away from your home address as per the t&C's of your account and sky use IP address tracking. See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/use-of-streaming-tv-subscription-outside-your-address#:~:text=You%20can%20only%20watch%20your,See%20Sky%20Terms%20and%20Conditions.
