Uhd with Hdr

The past two episodes of house of dragons when I click on next episode it starts playing the uhd only version. I have to go to other formats tab and choose Uhd with Hdr version. It's not a huge inconvenience I know but just wondered why?

No there are three options, hd, uhd and uhd with Hdr. For some reason it defaults to Uhd. I have to go to other formats and choose Uhd with Hdr. I would have thought it would play the best picture option.

@Ant13 the system should select the UHD/HDR version but I find like you it sometimes it doesnt. I think it is related to how you added the programme to your playlist. These days I just use the 'continue watching" option which seems to get me the right version 🤞

Do Sky have a database of TVs with poor HDR support for the selection😂

I have found this a problem as well, in the series overview the episodes listed will switch between UHD HDR and just UHD. But can be usually fixed by looking under "All Formats" and switching it to HDR there.

And with continue watching, when ever the next episode comes on it defaults to just UHD (when the previous episode was HDR) which is a bit of a design flaw.

I can't get uhd hdr anymore with my sky glass puc, it now only offers HD and UHD, no third option of UHD HDR, it even downscale content from other apps like disney, **bleep** is going on sky, has anyone else found this problem
