if you put someting in playlist and its a live event can you put it to run over the time ie speedway because it over run last sat it cut off the last 6 races ?

Unfortunately there is no way to do this. You cannot add 'padding' to the end of an EPG time slot to ensure the whole event is captured. Live sports are notoriously unpredictable when playlisted on Sky Stream.

If the EPG is updated in real time then it should extend the 'recording' of the event, but this rarely happens.
