Controlling TV Volume

Hi,

New stream user, and I'm having a problem with controlling my TV with the remote.

I had the box setup on my Sony TV, controlling volume and power on the TV no problem. I moved the box through to the other room last night (don't have enough boxes for all TV's yet as I'm still deciding if I want to keep it), I then set it up to control my LG Tv with Sonos playbar.

This worked fine.

I have moved the box back through to my Sony TV and ran the remote control setup again, and none of the settings seem to be working with my TV? I've ran through all the automatic ones (32) and then selected my TV manufacturer and ran through them too (12).

Nothing seems to work. Any ideas apart from resetting the box?

Maybe try and reset the remote

The remote can be reset and paired again following these steps;

Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.
Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.
Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.

I've just done this, and now I can't control Sky at all. Nothing is showing on the screen to repair it?

Ok, I didn't realise that I actually needed to be pointing at the IR port of the box to initiate the Bluetooth pairing.

Paired again, but still not controlling the TV for some reason.

You mentioned a Sonos system earlier - is it still paired to this as this may affect the pairing with your tv

can you delete the pairing with the Sonos ?

I wasn't sure how to go about that.

I did a factory reset and all seems good now.
