Itv stutter - Live channel

Hello, I seem to have issues with the itv channel,

One moment everythings fine and a smooth 50fps, then randomly it will get little stutters, for example watching deal or no deal the other night, when the camera pans to a contestant there was weird micro stuttering, it happened alot and is still happening as of today, When I rewind the stutters are still there upon playing back so i guess this is a live stream issue. I dont experience this with any other channel it just seems to be the ITV live stream

Do you have a lot of image or motion processing options turned on on your TV? These can introduce micro-stutters and pixellation if not implemented well. Many cheaper TV's are quite poor at motion handling and it's always adviseable to turn such processing off.

Thanks for the reply, I have a pretty high end tv Sony X95L 65 inch to be exact, i have all motion settings off, always the first thing i disable, I dislike the soap opera effect 😅. It only happens with sky stream, I have just plugged in my old digital aerial and itv has no stutter, every other channel on sky stream seems to be smooth, I think this is just a problem with ITV honestly.

I seem to recall ITV's live stream was suffering from this a few weeks ago too, several people noticed it.

Worth reporting it to ViewerR@sky.uk to make sure they do something about it.

You wouldn't be the first person to notice issues recently with ITV's live streams.

Do you get the same issue if you watch the live stream via the ITV X on your puck?
