Please kindly advice if my Sky go on my laptop will still work if i switch to sky stream deal without adding the whole room package

Yes, the Sky Go app on your laptop will still work if you switch to Sky Stream. You do not need Whole Home for it to work.

For what you are asking, you will not need Whole Home.

You will need to add Whole Home if you want to view on more than two devices as described in the Sky Stream faq under the Sky Go section, namely for adding more devices and using Sky Go on game consoles;

And if you’ve got the Whole Home monthly subscription, you can stream on four devices at the same time with Sky Go and watch Sky TV on your games console...
