As I said this was with the Discovery+ app which was running (not paused). I have two Sky pucks setup in the living room the second one that feeds another screen has been running all afternoon on Sky Sports News without turning off. So is it something to do with apps having a different timeout. I usually use Apple TV for Discovery+ but used (out of laziness!) the Sky puck today.

Not sure if it's my imagination but is the 'pick up your remote' to your Sky Stream puck turning itself off happening more frequently? I've had the West Ham v Liverpool match (through the D+ app) on and it's done it twice (I missed the second one ). I wish there was a way to disable this irritating and completely pointless function (my TV is still on so the energy saved my be minimal!).

If you have paused live TV it will happen 10 minutes, so you can only paused live Tv for 10 minutes before having to pick up the remote to ensure it doesn't turn off.

It should then be a couple of minutes if you just leave a live channel running and you haven't picked up the remote.
