I know this seems to be a common issue but has anyone actually got a fix for this?

Sky Stream box freezing constantly, most advert breaks and now during programs - now got so bad its unusable

On QS025.017.00P with hardware IP061-ef

Broadband is full fibre 1gb

Wi-Fi is showing -65dBm

Wi-Fi speed at puck is 186Mbps down, 83.3Mbps up, 9ms jitter

Got two Stream Pucks - upstairs works OK, downstairs has deteriorated in the last couple of days to be unusable, just keeps freezing

Any ideas?

Only been with Sky for a couple of months but now at the point of cancelling as the service is unusable

@Buster_In_Yorks in theory your pucks should run without issue with the figures you quote which I am assuming are for the downstairs puck.

Is it possible that there is some form of interference affecting the wifi signal in that area? Numerous things can disrupt wifi including interference from a neighbour's network but also include your own kit like wireless speakers, central heating controls or even DECT cordeless phones. A microwave cooker with a slight radiation leak is another cause as are fluorescent lights,

The fault could be a dodgy puck and simply swapping the two pucks over would show if you have a dud unit or not.

Still having issues: just run a 50m network cable direct from router to Sky Stream Puck - it gets an IP address but states no internet despite multiple resets

Just about ready to give up on Sky Stream
