Glass puck stuck on standby

Soo frustrated!! The puck will not come off standby,ive gone through the whole turn off hold the power button a million times tried a new hdmi,bought a new remote and tried differnt tv's and nothing !!!!still stuck on stand by,im prob being thick and i hope i am can someone help,il end up ringing sky but if it is something daft I'd try before having the whole drama of ringing and sending it back

@mandyford Have you tried using the standby button on the underneath of the stream puck and seeing if that works? It's possible the issue you are having is the remote so that would be a good way of testing.

As mentioned above, seems trying the standby button on the bottom of the puck often cures a problem like yours.

I had this problem today. What worked for me was to turn of at the mains (not just unplug socket on puck) wait a couple of minutes and turn back on. Puck then rebooted.

Thanks to everyone but i have been trying everything suggested for the past 24hrs and its still sat glaring at me with the just the white light! Think its tine to ring and see if i can get a replacement i give up
