Sky Stream Pause issue

Just got sky stream a few days ago.

Watching a show tonight, the 1% club and had to pause a few times.

While the show is paused the massive pause icon/menu covers a large part of screen?

This was really poor, couldnt read the questions due to the huge pause icon. Back button doesn't take it away. AM I missing something really obvious?

@JazTheTim I also think it could be a little less intrusive but I don't understand why the back button doesn't remove it. I have never know it not to remove the pause bar from the bottom of the screen.

Just in case it is a software glitch specific to your setup unplug your Stream puck for a minute and plug it in again. It will take about a minute to reboot.

@JazTheTim Yes, it is the Stream Puck I am referring to when I suggest the reboot. The pause bar at the bottom of the TV screen should disappear when you select the back button on the remote. This is the case with the stream puck as well as Glass TV.

When I watch the 1% Club I always manage to "win" but my pause button gets a thorough workout to achieve this 😏!

I havent experienced your problem. As @Fothergill1 suggests, a reboot should cure the issue.

For clarity, it's not the pause 'bar' it's the large square preview screen that the pause bar brings up. The pause bar dissappears, but the preview screen doesnt.

I didn't watch live, so maybe it's a stv player thing?

I'll install itv x and hopefully it won't force me on to stv player due to location.

@JazTheTim ITVX will already be included on the Apps & inputs rail on your Stream puck. You can't add or remove items from it.

I have just seen your photo of the problem. It must be very annoying and as you say must be specific to STV as I have never encountered that before.

Confirmed as an STV player issue.

No issue while on Itv x
