topic Sky puck sound issues in Sky Stream

Hi I have a sky puck running latest software, every now and then the sound drops out for a couple of seconds. It does this regardless of whether I am watching live TV, box sets or any of the apps. I have followed all the guides and checks etc to no avail. The puck is connected directly to my Samsung TV via hdmi. I have also tried connecting it directly to my AV receiver, again to no avail. Just hoping someone may have experienced similar issues and can help please. Cheers. Matt.

I have reported this for several months. I'm still experiencing this issue. Latest while watching latest True Detective series with Jodie Foster. Seems to be mostly UHD and HDR programmes

Yeah have spoken to technical and pretty much proved that my problem with sound drop outs is down to a poor wifi signal!.

Bit of an issue then as sky tell me that although I'm on ultra fast broadband I don't qualify for having this remedied, as I don't have an expensive enough package. This means as far as I'm concerned that my sky puck isn't able to work properly with my current sky WiFi and surely I should have been advised of this possible issue?.

I now only use it for non terrestrial channels as I can use netflix, prime, i player etc all without fault on my telly.

So a bit of a lemon really!.
