Itv picture issue

Hi,

Since yesterday evening (maybe earlier but that's when I noticed) I've had a picture issue that only seems to be affecting itv1 (103). It looks like it's possibly an interlacing issue, most noticeable on scrolling tickets eg good morning Britain's news ticker. It looks jerky rather than smooth. The problem looks the same on all picture modes (1080i/p, uhd etc).

This is happening on my tv in the lounge connected via a puck. Has anyone else noticed this?

Hi. Yes this started yesterday evening at 7pm and is still there on itv1 only. It's definitely interlacing but for me its 720 and 1080i. 1080p fixes it.

Same here, both pucks affected and it's only ITV. Tried rebooting my router but made no difference. It must be an issue at their end.

The ITV live channel stream seems to judder when the image is panned. Is this somthething thagt can be improved from a TV setting or judder reduction from the Stream box itself. Other topics seemed to suggest that judder reduction was not useful for live streams.

Any help or assitance would be appreciated.

@Dshepherd This appears to have just started happening to some people as there is another short thread HERE.

You could try a reboot of your Stream puck in case it is simply a software glitch. Switch it off at the plug socket for a minute and then turn it on again. I takes about a minute to reboot.

The same issue. I have literally just moved to Sky Stream and this was the first thing I noticed. Any panning of the picture highlights the issue,

Yep I'm super sensitive to motion judder....although my girlfriend didn't notice it 😂 Hopefully it's something that will get sorted by Sky soon. It's not normally like that trust me!

I just came on this forum to post about issues with itv 1 so glad it's not just me.

Same issue here on itv central in the West Midlands.

So it doesn't seem to be just one region.

You can really tell there's an issue on scrolling text during GMB, on my TV its very jaggered.

Streaming on itvx doesn't have this issue

I change to 1080i and that seemed to solve it. Might be worth a try changing to settings to see if it helps.

Given there are numerous regional versions of ITV1 people with this issue are best advised to email Sky's Viewer Relations team at viewerR@sky.uk including which region they are in as they can pass on the complaint to ITV to get the issue fixed. Sky do not directly control the quality of third party broadcaster's streams and mistakes do happen.

Apologies if this has been covered recently, but I couldn't find a similar thread.

Is anyone else experience issues with picture quality on ITV live programming? I've had it for a few days now where the picture quality looks more like SD than HD like on ITVX. My local region is Anglia and Meridian is just the same for me.

Doesn't appear to affect any other live channels that I watch regularly.

I've recently got sky stream, really happy with it. However, the last couple of days itvhd has has picture issues. Quite a lot of judder and motion issues. No problems with itvx it's just the main channel. Tried changing settings to 1080i/p which helps a little bit but not much. Anyone else had issues?

Exactly the same for me last couple of days .. I get the issue with ITV HD Granada Region it's been like this for the last couple of days .. normally the picture quality of ITV HD is excellent but something has definitely happened during the last couple of days. I'm viewing on a puck through my LG Oled C3 all other channels including ITV2 are excellent so it just seems to be this one channel that has the issue.

I've just checked the ITV 1 live stream on ITVX and, to put it mildly, it's shocking. Obviously an ITV streaming issue.
