I like recording the football on BT and Sky Sports on Sky Q are all the matches available after broadcast?and for how long?

There isn't a definite answer for this. It depends. If the content is on a broadcaster that has a catch up service (i.e BBC iPlayer or ITVX) it's at the mercy of that broadcaster to add it to their service. Can be between minutes or hours.

With Sky sports stuff or broadcasters without a catch-up service, sky's cloud recording can be used and it's available immediately.

Under "shows not showing in your playlist" it states:

Shows saved for 12 months

Most shows and movies in your Playlist will be saved for 12 months. Some that are available through a TV app, like Netflix or ITVX, might not be available for that long, as they have different contractual agreements.

For example, most programmes from BBC iPlayer are available for 12 months. But some, like Match of the Day or the News, aren't available for as long.

Sky Sports and TNT content is available for 12 months according to the relevant sections in that article.
