Sky stream

I have just started using sky stream. I have set it up as per.instructions. However, after watching TV and switching the system off it will not power up. I have to switch it off and on at the wall to wake the box up. Any ideas

Quick clarification .... "switching the system off" do you mean standby?

Yes - Standby. I use the on/ off switch on the remote after I have finished watching and it will not respond when I come back later

Have tried tried turning off the energy saving options in settings?

I also have an issue with the remote not accepting the commands to take charge of the TV and speakers - even although I can change the volume during the initial set up

In the settings change Networked Standby Mode to ON and you may also want to set Overnight PowerSaving Mode to OFF, to prevent it taking some time first thing in the morning waking up.
