    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3980897"&gt;@StuPot65&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; I would be inclined to request a replacement remote at the following link:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://www.sky.com/help/forms/streaming-tv-remote" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Streaming TV replacement remote&amp;nbsp;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In the meantime you could try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth. &amp;nbsp;Even though it sounds an unlikely solution it has got many faulty remotes working again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Brand new remote failing to work randomly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;slightest tap causes this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;replaced batteries.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;its as if they are not sitting tightly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;could a replacement remote be the fix?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
