I often see this cloud recording mentioned but in practice it dont feel like you really cloud record anything if at all in most cases. The closest maybe when i add 4K HDR football to playlist that seems to cloud record but anything from general TV and drama seems to just link to the on demand library? If we really get cloud recording should we not have a recording tab where we can manage our cloud recordings, and see how many hours we have left in our cloud recordings, I dont even see it mentioned anymore but i thought it was like 1000 hours cloud recording or something is that still even a thing?

What stream version are you on? QS024 or QS025

Prior to QS025 a cloud recording was only set from a linear stream. With QS025 a cloud recording can be set from any part of the stream interface

It will continue to link to on demand content but if none is available then 1000 hours will be the limit

I'm still on QS024 don't think I will renew my 18 month contract with stream so not sure I will get the software update before my contract is due to run out.

I want to love sky stream platform and I think it could be great but ads with on demand just kills it for me at this price point.

Also it would be great to cloud record BBC shows to start watching before they finish, because the live restart of iPlayer is not the same picture quality of BBC1 live on stream, but I don't think sky stream will ever cloud record BBC1?
