Issue with sky stream remote

Have had sky stream for about 6 months. Two days ago message received on tv that remote batteries were getting low. This morning the remote wouldn't switch the puck on so I changed the batteries as per request two days ago.

Still had no luck switching the puck on so tried all the pressing of the different numbers on the remote (4&6, 1&3 etc) found in sky community advice again with no luck SO I decided after a google search to reset the puck which I did.

Now I have a message on screen 'Remote control setup'. Tells me to point sky remote at the device and press and hold 4&6 together for two seconds.

I tried this and absolutely nothing is happening. Same message on the screen!
HELP please! 🥺🙏

@Missykim Unfortunately the Glass & Stream remotes are always causing problems.

As unlikely as it sounds try holding the remote at both ends and giving it a gentle twist as though you were wringing out a cloth. This has got many faulty remotes working again (including mine on two occasions).

If that doesn't help then I would request a replacement at the following link: Streaming TV replacement remote

If you have one available you can use a Sky Q remote while you wait for a replacement.
