I see many people have complained about the subtitles in Sky streaming

They are right in the middle of the screen and often cover the mouths of speakers which actually hinders understanding of what is being said .

Sky say that they have no control as subtitles are set by the individual broadcaster . THIS IS NOT TRUE . I have watched the same programmes on my terrestrial tv channel and the subtitles are much nearer the bottom of the screen ( eg Channel 4). So clearly Sky ARE altering the format

In terms of size ,the subtitles are very large which I appreciate is good for those with sight problems . However we could have a choice of size .

Nothing has been done about this even though it is an issue for many people . I've just signed up to Sky and am already having a rethink . Comments welcome . This is my first post

Smaller high res subtitles please. Not enormous low res subtitles like cfax from the 80s that are completely immersion breaking. Not hard to understand.
