Hi, just reaching out to see whether anyone is having an issue with Sky Store today?

I'm able to get into it on Now but when I want to watch something I'm getting the above error code?! Help!

I'm getting the same issue. Things were fine on Tuesday 6 Oct. Last night the errors started. I cannot see or play any content using the sky store app on my now TV box but I can in my phone. It's very annoying. It seems like a server connection issue.

Yep, exactly the same for me! It was perfectly fine Tuesday but yesterday the error messages started. Like you, able to get on phone but not on TV?!

Before anyone asks, and I know they will:

Yes:

I have tried to update the Now TV box - it says it's uptodate.

I have tried to update the Sky Store app - it says it's uptodate.

I have logged out and back in again on the Sky store app on Now TV box and no change.

I have turned the box off, waited hours and turned it back on again - no change.

I have made sure that I have a strong internet connection - 45MB and no change.

I have checked that other apps on the Now TV box, such as Pluto, can access and stream content and they can.

I have checked my Sky Store account and all looks fine.

I can stream using the Sky Store app on my Android phone.

and No:

I don't have one of the very old Now TV boxes that are no longer supported.

It looks like an issue has occurred at Sky's end on Wed or Thurs of this week that is preventing me from watch films and tv shows on my Sony Bravia TV, using my Now TV box with the latest Sky Store App - this is very annoying. It is also preventing me from accessing my account on this app and even trying to few trailers for films I haven't bought. All communication seems to have been lost apart from the data feed that is displaying latest films, special deals on the home page of the app.

I wonder how long it will be before this issue is even acknowledged and how long before it's fixed?

Trying to get hold of anyone at Sky to get help is next to useless! Had a problem similar before a while back, so like you, did exactly the same before I was told to do it.

I've now messaged NOW to try and get some answers......fingers crossed!

Mine was working g yesterday morning before school - kids were watching Spider-Man. Came home from school to put it back on and it was no longer working. Tried everything, it's all up to date, disconnected and reconnected WiFi etc.

Sky store error code 0400HTTP:_401

can anyone advise I've got nearly 200 films on sky store. I've tried to log in for the last 48 hours and it's given the above code.
Was wondering if everyone is having issues. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, updated ect all the other apps are working just not sky store. Thanks in advance

Plenty of people have issues.

The worry is Sky won't do anything about it and they make it hard to even let them know there is a problem.

It's almost impossible to even work out who to talk to, let alone actually talk to them.

I have the Now TV box, model 4201, I can't even find out from Sky if that box is still 100% setup to work with Sky Store. There also seems no way to contact any technical staff - which is the obvious route since it's clear that the Sky Store app, on the Now TV box, is not talking to Sky servers at the moment - not since Wed of this week.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed this will be fixed quickly but I'm not sure Sky really care about people using the Sky Store app on Now TV boxes anymore.

Can anyone confirm if the Sky Store app is working on the latest Roku sticks?

Finally just had a reply from Sky (as below) however unknown as to how long this fix is going go take!:

'I can see this is a known issue, and you're not the only customer affected. A number of customers are currently reporting the same 0400HTTP:_400 error when trying to access purchased content through the Sky Store app on NOW TV devices. Our backend teams are already investigating this, and they're actively working to identify and resolve the fault. As this appears to be a service-side issue, there isn't anything you've done wrong, and there aren't any account or device changes that need to be made from your side at the moment. I completely appreciate how frustrating this is, especially when you're unable to access movies you've purchased and the issue has already been ongoing for around 48 hours. I do apologise for the inconvenience caused. Once the fix is implemented, access to your purchased content should be restored automatically. In the meantime, we'll continue to monitor the issue and our technical teams are treating it as a priority. 😊'

Managed (eventually!) to get through to someone via sky store online chat (after jumping through various hoops to actually get through to a human!)

Hopefully it'll give some hope to everyone with the same annoying issue 🤞
