I've been charged £9.99 for a movie that was a gift from Sky due to Sky q box freezing. I want a refund asap

Did you select the film from those in the list and was it then shown as being £0.00 on the screen ?

I had to ring up and speak with customer services as the options weren't showing on the message I received. They sent me a text to say the charge would be waved which I still have

All the movies available as part of the free gift promotion were priced at £0.00 @ZBB1

It seems probable that you selected a movie which was not on the list of free choices.

If you selected a movie on your Sky Q box the charge would be added to your monthly bill. Have you checked your Sky monthly bill to check if it's been cancelled ?

If Sky store support agreed as a gesture to refund the £9.99- and they haven't done so, my suggestion would be that you follow this up through their live chat which next opens at 11am Wednesday

What film did you select as it does appear that as we stated yesterday that you selected one that was in the list on this promotion.

Can I just add (this happened to me) - there was no clear list to choose from. It just said "£5 free for/towards a movie" but no limitations were detailed ...

...also, after getting the £4.99 refund on the returned movie, I now can't see my free £5 anywhere at all.

Are you saying that you bought a £9.99 movie using the £5 offer, then were able to get a £4.99 refund.

so do you still have access to the £9.99 movie ?
