Sky Store on Windows

Hi, I have recently reformatted my PC and I went to add the windows store app but I cannot find the download anymore.

I have read that support has been stopped for it. Is there any way I can download the app so I can watch my films on my device ?

I do not have a smart phone and I cannot stream films as the signal is too weak. I am in a rural area and it is forever buffering.

All I have is a windows 11 PC. What can I do ?

Sky discontinued the Windows app a while back so whatching them from the Sky Store website will be the only way to view them if you are not a Sky TV customer.

Hi @caesarome ,

I cant watch via the website it buffers too much and is unwatchable. It is a service my dad uses and his internet is only ADSL at best it is 2-3 mbp/s I used to take his laptop to download fiolms for him.

Are there any plans to reinstate the servidce or can the old app be installed at all ?
Are sky willing to refund the films that are now unwatchable seeing as they were all boiught for him to watch.

Thing is the old app worked fine lastr week because I was watching it using the app.

I am a SKY TV customer I have the full package.

I doubt very much that Sky will restore the windows app seeing now that it has been removed and as for a refund this is something you would need to ask them about but again I doubt very much they would do this but it is worth a try, they have a live chat you can use that is available from 11am-7.30pm Monday to Saturday and can be found here:

Thanks for your help. It is a bit bad that someone of SKYs standing doesnt support the biggest and most popular platform for their products.
Maybe it is time to swap to a supplier who supports the biggest and most popular platforms instead of one that doesnt.

frustrated windows 11 user can't afford a mac and my windows games wouldn't work on a mac please restore the sky store app i am on your full pakage😡 **bleep** off have 10 years worth of movies on there not all are backed up else were

I wouldnt get a mac if they were free.
You sound like your in the same boat though I dont have 10 years worth like you..

Oh and by the way it is elsewhere not else were, one word. If your going to rant at least do it properly.
