I have cancelled my tv package and need to return the boxes, dies this mean i lose the but and keep movies that are stored on there

There are a few devices you can watch your purchases on after leaving Sky:

The Sky Store app on mobiles and tablets and an LG TV.

The Sky Store website

NOW TV and Roku

However, once you have left you might need to contact Sky Store support so you account can be changed from a Sky Tv one to a Sky Store only account and when you are ready you can do this here via a live chat that is available Monday to Saturday 11am to 7.30pm:
