Hi.

I'm trying to download a movie that is free as part of the sky rewards, but it's asking for my payment details.

How do I get round this please. Any ideas

Providing you have double checked that the cost of the movie is £0, you will still need to give your payment details, but it's not that they will take any money - it's just Sky's way of getting you ready to purchase movies in future.

they might do a test transaction, say £1 , to make sure your card details are valid but that would only show as pending on your bank account and should then disappear.

Do make certain though the free movie is being charged at £0 though.

My suggestion @LisaB68 would be to sign in to Sky store and then, top left on your screen behind the horizontal lines you should see your name. Click on that

then click on "my account"

you should see a section called "payment details"

add a card in there - and then - go back and choose your £0 movie - and checkout as long as you see £0 as the charge
