Can't login to Sky Store

Hi, I've recently signed up to Sky Stream. All good so far except I can't sign into the Sky Store. Whenever I scan the QR code on my phone to log in, I receive a "there was an unexpected error message" and I can't progress further. This also appears if I try to sign straight into Sky Store on the website. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Thanks for the reply. No. The screen jumped straight to the error message with no option to input my details. However, I've since tried to sign into the sky store website on a separate device and it worked. I then tried again in the app and it let me. A bit odd, but at least it's now working.

I'm also having this issue. I tried logging into sky store to redeem my free movie gift for joining, but after I enter my login details I am taken to a page that asks me to confirm my last name. Once I do this I'm sent to another page that says 'unexpected error'. I've tried signing in on my sky stream puck but it tells me to go online. My user details work when I log in to sky vip etc. just not sky store. Welcome to sky 😂

I would get in touch with Sky Store support regarding this, they have a live chat you can use that is available from 11am-7.30pm Monday to Saturday and can be found here:

What device are you using to try to log in @Zoegeezer ?

Do you have access to a laptop / desktop and have you tried different browsers (eg Safari / Chrome )

I am having this issue and do not want to watch on any other device apart from TV., are there any fixes? If not can I get a refund for my purchase

After I logged into the Sky Store website on a separate device, I was able to log in to the app on my TV.

I have tried logging using a different device then back to the TV. Still doesn't work. I started a conversation using the help centre and lost it by accident and now there's an error whenever I try to start another.

Hi, maybe late but hope it helps somebody. Just signed up to sky stream and had this exact problem.

I then logged into sky account and went to "my details" in the menu. I weirdly had no last name registered, so i entered my last name saved it went back to sky store logged in entered last name and WOLLAH picked my free movie, beetlejuice beetlejuice and enjoyed!

Great spot!

This helped me with the exact same problem. To clarify to anyone else with the same issue it is in the "Sky ID" area of "Amy Details". We signed up to Sky Stream and the last name had not been set on the Sky ID. All sorted.

Just to clarify I edited my sky id name. Even though it looked ok I edited it and you can see that the first and last name are in the same box.

Thanks. This worked for me. It was in my Sky id that the surname was missing.
