Why is sky store so bad?

I can't get it to work on my laptop

It only works when it wants to on my phone, and I have a fold 4

Wife phone struggles with it and the kids pad struggles to download anything,one film has got to 22% and been stuck there for 2 days!!

Completely awful programme

I have about 30 films on there and won't be buying anymore!!

If you are having issues on multiple devices then if they are all connected to your wifi connection then it might be worth a reboot of your broadband hub to see what happens afterwards.

Thanks for the advice but it doesn't matter where I am it's still the same

All other services work well like Netflix and disney plus it's just the sky app

Sky go isn't much better

From spending a lot of time on the forum - and from my own experience of Sky store (generally very positive on a range of devices ) your findings are not something I see a lot of.

Just for a minute - let's assume it's something at your end ? (And if it's not - apologies for wasting your time here ) -

Who is your broadband provider ? I wonder if it's worth speaking to them to check if there is a known connectivity issue with their product and Sky store.

Do you have a traditional broadband connection (as opposed to a 4G / 5G router ?)

Thanks for the advice but as I said it doesnt matter where I try it as in a load of friends and family houses

I am reasonably tech savvy and have tried a lot of different things and have a freind in computers so we've been through everything

My original post wasn't a cry for help more of a statement

Sky needs to update the app and look after their customers better

I'm not the only one with issues with sky store

When the streaming works fine but then it won't download is just frustrating

Funnily enough it downloaded a film on my phone last night but still not the kids pads

Small victories lol
